Wakame seaweed brings a depth of Japanese flavors to your kitchen, adding a salty and spicy touch of the sea to vegetarian dishes. Wakame is rich in minerals such as calcium, phosphorus and iron, and contains valuable chlorophyll. This brown algae is ecologically harvested from Portuguese waters.

Preparation: Rinse dried wakame under running water and soak for 15 minutes. Then boil for a few minutes to make the wakame ready to enjoy. Perfect as a topping for tofu, vegetables and soups, as well as in fresh salads.

Discover the rich flavors of Japanese cuisine and enjoy ecologically grown seaweed!

Consumption advice: Excessive consumption of seaweed can cause thyroid dysfunction due to the high iodine content. The German Nutrition Society recommends an average daily iodine intake of up to 200 µg. Therefore, no more than approximately 1 g = 1 teaspoon of dried seaweed should be consumed per day. It is important to prepare the product according to the instructions, as the recommended preparation reduces the iodine content. The iodine content in the nutritional table refers to the dried seaweed.
