Clearspring Genmaicha delicately combines the slightly earthy taste of green tea with the nutty aroma of roasted brown rice. A traditional Japanese blend originating from the fertile slopes of Kyoto and Kyushu – regions where the climate and soil create ideal conditions for growing high-quality tea. The tea leaves are steamed, rolled and then mixed with roasted rice to deliver a true Genmaicha tea experience.
Preparation:
Add 2 heaping teaspoons of tea per person to the teapot. Boil fresh water, let it cool for a minute (90°C) and then pour over the tea. Let it steep for just 1-2 minutes.
