Daflori is a Portuguese plant-based food company founded in 2016 and based in the small town of Ferreira do Zêzere in central Portugal. The brand prides itself on its local production — all Daflori products are conceived, tested and manufactured in Portugal, using the highest quality standards.
Daflori specializes in the production of tofu, seitan and other plant-based protein sources. Their tofu is made from carefully selected organic soybeans and has a dense, cheese-like texture and a subtle creamy white color — perfect raw, fried, in soups, steamed or stuffed. Seitan is made from wheat gluten and absorbs the flavors of marinades and spices perfectly, making it a great meat substitute. Daflori also offers a selection of plant-based sausages based on traditional Portuguese recipes — including plant-based chouriço, morcella and alheira.
Daflori is one of the few Portuguese companies actively promoting plant-based nutrition in the domestic market, while also achieving international recognition. The brand exports its products to Switzerland, England, Mozambique, Macau and Germany, and has participated in European food innovation projects.
