Vantastic (formerly Vantastic Foods) is a plant-based food brand founded in Germany in 2004, driven by Tobias Graf’s vision to offer people delicious plant-based alternatives at a time when the word “vegan” was still completely foreign to most people. The brand started modestly — the first products were packaged in the founder’s parents’ garage and basement. Today, Vantastic is one of Germany’s best-known vegan food brands with over 130 products.
Vantastic's product range is surprisingly diverse: meat and fish substitutes, seitan, tofu, an international street food selection, snacks and treatsused. The brand draws inspiration from international cuisine — Indian samosas, Mediterranean pasta, Asian street food, American-style snacks — and brings them all to the table in a plant-based way. All products are 100% plant-based, free of flavor enhancers and GMO-free.
In 2005, Vantastic was the first to sell a plant-based milk chocolate substitute in Europe — a sign of the brand’s inherent innovation. In 2024, the brand renewed its image and is expanding further, focusing on quality, taste and sustainability.
