Dragon Superfoods organic matcha powder is a high-quality (grade-A) green tea powder. The plant (Camellia sinensis) is grown in the shade for 30 days before the young leaves are carefully separated from the stem and finely ground. This traditional processing method preserves the beneficial nutrients of the plant. The deep green tea flavor makes our matcha powder a great addition to smoothies, lattes, savory sauces or baked goods.

Recommended use: 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 g) per day.

1. Prepare Ingredients and Tools:

1–2 teaspoons matcha powder
60–70 ml of hot water (about 80°C)
Bamboo whisk (chasen) or small hand whisk
Matcha bowl (or small bowl)

2. Sift Matcha Powder: Sift the matcha powder through a fine sieve into a bowl to remove any lumps and create a silky smooth drink.

3. Add Hot Water: Heat the water to about 80°C. Add small amounts of hot water to the matcha powder and stir slowly to form a paste.

4. Whisk the Matcha: Use a bamboo whisk and quickly stir the matcha in a „W“ motion until it is thick and frothy. If you don’t have a bamboo whisk, a hand whisk will also work.

5. Serve and Enjoy: Serve matcha immediately and enjoy its rich flavor and refreshing effect.
